What this asks of us
Paul gives ordinary work spiritual weight, but wholehearted work is not the same as treating productivity as a god. John Paul II reminds us that work belongs to human life and dignity. A Christian approach therefore asks two questions at once: Am I doing this task faithfully, and am I honoring the person affected by it? Accuracy, patience, fair treatment, and honest communication can all become acts of devotion.

Correct an error, give an honest update, recognize someone's contribution, or address an unfair burden within your reach.
A SIMPLE PRAYER
Lord, receive the work of my hands and mind. Keep me honest, steady, and attentive to the dignity of every person my work touches. Amen.
